All of our surgeons are board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery and are recognized in their field for their leadership and dedication to high standards.

Dr. Paul C. Brown II

Dr. Brown is well-known in his field, serving as past president of the Oklahoma Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Baylor College of Dentistry, and completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at OU Health Sciences Center.

He also earned an MBA from OU in Norman and a bachelor’s degree from OSU in Stillwater. His specialty areas are:

                                • Reconstructive surgery
                                • Extractions and bone surgery
                                • Mouth and lip cancer

Dr. Kent Cohenour

Dr. Cohenour is a well-known oral surgeon nationally and internationally in his field. He has served both as treasurer of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and as president of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

He earned his DDS degree from the University of Missouri and completed his residency at Confederate Memorial Medical Center in Shreveport, La. He earned his bachelor’s degree from OU. Dr. Cohenour has two children, one of which lives in Los Angeles and one living in OKC.  He and his wife attend at least 50 movies a year. He is also an avid golfer and traveler. His specialty areas are:

• outpatient anesthesia
• reconstructive jaw surgery for dental implants

Dr. Michael T. Duffy

Dr. Duffy is a leader in his field, serving as department chairman at Integris Baptist Medical Center, a member of the board of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Foundation, and as past president of the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

He earned his DDS degree from the St. Louis University School of Dentistry and completed a residency at OU Health Sciences Center. He earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Louis University. His                                  specialty areas are:

                                • Extractions and bone surgery

Dr. Vincent Montgomery

Dr. Montgomery’s surgical interests include corrective jaw and facial surgery, sleep apnea, dental implants and temporomandibular disorders. He is the director of the Red Earth Study Club and serves on the Board of Health for Health for Friends in Norman.

Dr. Montgomery earned his DMD in 1989 at Southern Illinois University and completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma.  He obtained Fellowship status in 1995.

He travels on international surgical mission trips with Faith in Practice and resides in Norman with his wife, two daughters and two sons. His specialty areas are:

• TMJ (jaw disorders)
• reconstructive surgery
• extractions and bone surgery
• sleep apnea

Dr. Scott Searcey

Dr. Searcey is a native Oklahoman and summa cum laude graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. He is past president of both the Oklahoma Society of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Oklahoma County Dental Society.  Dr. Searcey currently serves as Chairman of the Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at Baptist Integris Medical Center.

Dr. Searcey has two children and lives in Edmond, where they are active in their church and community. His specialty areas are:

Dr. Tracy E. McIntire

Dr. McIntire earned his DDS degree from the University of Oklahoma and completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Indiana School of Medicine. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Nazarene University in biochemistry in Oklahoma City. Before joining OMA, he was active in dental mission work, providing services in Mexico, Peru and Oklahoma City.

Originally from Yukon, Dr. McIntire lives in Edmond with his wife and three sons. In his spare time, Dr. McIntire enjoys participating in Iron Man triathlons. His specialty areas are:

• reconstructive surgery

Dr. Drew Wendelken

Dr. Wendelken earned his DDS degree with honors from the University of Oklahoma, College of Dentistry and completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the OU Health Sciences. He is actively involved in multiple local and national organizations and study clubs. He currently resides in Oklahoma City with his wife, who is also a practicing dentist in the area. They have 1 daughter and another one due in May 2011.
